Ingrid Hjerpseth er organist, dirigent og underviser med en allsidig musikalsk profil. Hun er utdannet fra Norges musikkhøgskole, og improvisasjon står sentralt i hennes arbeid – både som kunstnerisk uttrykk og som metode for å skape levende møter med musikk.
Som musiker søker Ingrid å være åpen, nysgjerrig og lyttende, enten hun sitter ved orgelkrakken, leder et kor eller underviser. Hun legger vekt på at musikk er noe som deles, og at dens verdi ligger i møtet mellom mennesker, rom og klang. Ingrid Hjerpseth is an organist, choral conductor, and teacher with a versatile musical profile. She completed both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the Norwegian Academy of Music, and improvisation plays a central role in her work—both as a form of artistic expression and as a way to create vivid musical experiences.
As a musician, Ingrid strives to be open, curious, and receptive, whether she is playing the organ, leading a choir, or teaching. She sees music as something to be shared, with its value found at the intersection of people, space, and sound.
